My initial reservations are proving justified. Using my Surface Go is not a case of ‘set up and go’.
|Mail, Calendar and People integrate nicely with my Google account.||To-do does not integrate with my Google account|
|OneDrive, OneNote and Skype are installed and set themselves up||OneNote is the horrible Windows 10 app|
|Dropbox has an approved app||Google Drive does not have an approved app.|
|Connection to my phone, albeit I have to set it up in two places on the Surface and download yet another app on my phone||I have no windows ink icon as promised in the Surface Tips|
|Windows hello! I love signing in with my face.||I can’t register my pen. It seemed to work out of the box, but then I realised I had to connect it to the Surface using Bluetooth|

You might say so far so good. But I have already spent more time setting up the Go than setting up my iPad. And I haven’t got to the things I use on a tablet.
